Lets just say I have not been so frustrated with myself since the start of the program. Just imagine a day that you thought was well planned in your head and then just falls apart. I had been going through the process all this last weekend, and it felt like none of it went as planned.
It started out smooth, I noted health history, and did my intra/extra oral exams and then on to probing. After probing it all fell apart. I started my treatment plan, while my instructor checked my probe depths. My instructor had notified me about my OD check and I had messed up the treatment plan. By the time I had corrected the treatment plan and finished the OD it was time to finish up, so I had 10 minutes to finish the OHI. I never started scaling and that was my goal. I will get it right this next appointment!
