Today was the curet scaler. It's a scaler for the unseen biofilm and calculus below the gingiva. This instrument is for the posterior teeth and it entails a lot more skill for adaptation. It also requires a different stroke on different surfaces of the tooth. I love learning this stuff and can't wait to put it to a real tooth on a real live patient!
